The reason we feel terrible after we overeat is because the stomach to fill up not only food, but also liquids, air and byproducts that are created through digestion.
The muscles then spread to the max and you feel pain. But there are a few tricks to relive yourself from the pain:
After 5 minutes
When you feel pain, do not eat the last piece, keep the fork and leave the festive table.
After 15 minutes
Do not pressure yourself to stand, because it perform even more pressure on the digestive system, but, sit on the nearest couch and rest for a bit to relieve pressure that is performed on the stomach.
After 30 minutes
Now it’s time to walk a little. So will stimulate motility of the digestive system and food will soon be processed.
By the end of the day, do not overdo with the exercise and especially not fall asleep at least 5 to 6 hours after overeating or at least until the moment when you feel that food is no longer in the stomach, but began to be processed in the rest of the digestive system.
