Scientists from Oxford Brookes University have discovered a new and surprisingly simple way of diagnosing excess weight no formulas and tables needed.
You need to do the following:
Take the rope with length that suit your height. Fold it in half, and wrap it around your waist.
If you can put together the ends of the rope halved – you have ideal weight. If you can’t do it, then we have bad news – you have excess weight.
The scope of your waist should not be bigger than half your height.
This was tested on more than 3000 patients and all have confirmed the effectiveness of these methods.
The point is that the IMT (body mass indexes) do not always give an accurate picture. Due to the fact
in order to determine the IMT there are a number of formulas, and experts say it’s not that simple to calculate IMT.
But, according to their opinion: waist does not lie.
Also, study has showed that people with figure type “apple”, there is a higher risk for cardiovascular disease.
