Goodbye Dentists: Here Comes The Pill That Cures Dental Caries!

According to the experts, the scary sound of the dentist’s drill and the toothache will soon be a thing of the past.

Dentist claim to have come up with a new discovery that will soon allow them to create pills that will be used as a preventive of tooth decay and caries.

They announce that they have discovered a new strain of bacteria that supposedly reduces the effect of the harmful bacteria that affects the health of our teeth.

The bacteria known as Streptococcus A12 reduces the acid that affects the destruction of teeth by creating new microbes.

The most important thing is that it helps in breaking arginine, an amino acid, according to the findings of the research team associated with the development of caries.

Researchers believe that A12 could be used as an oral supplement in the prevention of dental caries.

Working at the University of Florida scientists have published their findings in the journal “Applied and Environmental Microbiology”, reports portal Klix.

According to the World Health Organization in 2012, 60-90 percent of school children and close to 100 percent of adults suffer from dental caries, while about 30 percent of elderly people, aged 65-74 years, no longer have any of their teeth.
